Wait time on CIC website-

The processing times on CIC is that including the sponsorship approval or just the Permanent REsidence part.

The time the visa office is in receipt of your application.

Application sent to Cairo, Egypt: March 30, 2009
AOR Received : May 28, 2009
Passport requested: June 22, 2009
Passport received with Visa!: August 6, 2009
Landed in Toronto: Sept 14, 2009

thanks- that sucks......i was our application has been in 5 weeks--i was hoping I could deduct that from my wait time :-(
