So, my dad is coming to visit for Christmas and I have asked him to bring a Christmas pudding with him (M&S of course!). However, my evil step-mother has apparently called the airline and has been told he can't bring it. Anyone know if she's right???

Thanks! I posted one to my sister last year without problem, and it was listed on the customs declaration thingy so I don't see why it would be an issue. I'll give them a call....or get my fiancé to call his colleague in Ottawa!!!

I brought dog food with me. The border guard told me go to the agriculture counter but then the guy didn't even check it! And then last time I brought moon cakes with me. No problems.

What's moon cake???
Typical mooncakes are round or rectangular pastries, measuring about 10 cm in diameter and 4–5 cm thick. A rich thick filling usually made from red bean or lotus seed paste is surrounded by a relatively thin (2–3 mm) crust and may contain yolks from salted duck eggs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mooncake
