I hope someone could give me clarification on how much funds are required for a Visitor on a Visitor Visa from China. Accomodations and Food are being supplied by a host friend. Is there a certain dollar amount funds needed to satisfy Canada Immigration. Thanks.
At least show that you are in a position to go on a trip- capacity to pay for your round trip fare... It's a tourist visa you are applying for, so you should be able to show enough funds to travel, stay and live in Canada even without the support of your friend, although your friend can mention in his/her invitation letter to you that he/she is going to provide food and lodging during your stay in Canada.
