On CHC website its mentioned that it takes 56 days (dont know working or calendays days) to process TRV application...longest processing time in the world...in London they answer within 2 to 5 days.

When your parents submitted the application to Canadian embassy?

My family application reached to CHC on 18 May 2011, I am expecting their feedback in Late July 2011... Embarrassed

From your side
•   Invitation letter
•   Passport & citizenship copies
•   Tax returns
•   Bank statement

From Mother side
•   Police certificate (if below 60 years)
•   Fees Receipt (single entry $75)
•   6 months old Bank Statement showing adequate funds
•   New & old Passport copies
•   Evidence of Strong ties with home country
•   Travel itinerary

If your application is complete, the following may be requested:
•   Medical examination
•   Police certificate
•   Interview

If your mother is resident of Pakistan then visa processing time here is around 2.5 months, if application approved then medical request & visa stamping could take another month. So if she applies in June 2011, her visa would be expected in late September 2011...

on behalf of Travel itinerary,so is it necessary to submit that too? on their website there is no mention of Travel itinerary.they advice applicant not to have book their ticket because its not sure if they gonna get accepted or not.

I thought that the processing time is only 30 business days and in some cases its only 10 days so it depends on your case .
