Hi, i have been granted 6 month visa for UK, my country of residence is Tanzania, I wish to visit Canada for 2 weeks as i have family relations there. Could a visitor visa for Canada be granted from UK even though i'm on vacation in UK?

Yes, you could as long as your status is legal in UK.
