My mother have been visiting in Canada for almost a year now.  We are planning to extend her visit for another 6 months, we extended her visa once and the CIC approved.  I just want to know if it's possible to extend again, how many times can she request for extension?   I want her to extend her visit so she can look after my baby because I need to go back to work.  Please I need your advice.

Just extend again.  Somebody on this board said they extended for 3 years.

What did you write as the reason for extended your mom's visa?  My mother-in-law is visiting us from India and we want to get her visa extended as well, same reason as yours need her to stay with the baby, while I go back to work.  Please help!

I told them that I need my mom to look after my baby, and we are still waiting for the decision.

How many days did CIC take to approve the extention for your mother?  I have also applied it and now almost 40 days, still unable to hear anything from CIC abt extention..
