Hi everyone,

I haven't been to this part of the forum and so I don't know if this was asked before or has happened to anyone here. I got a letter today from Case Processing Centre that says my application for a visitor record is refused. My question is : Is this the same thing as a visitor visa?
My background is: I applied inland in Quebec with my husband...application is in process and has been since March. My husband got a letter from MICC to proceed with undertaking. The reason for refusal of a visitor record is that I did not provide proof of entry into Canada. I think they mean a stamp ( which I never got ). Any help/advice please?

No, the VR and visa are not the same. The visa is attached (counterfoil, pasted) on the passport, the VR is a piece of paper that may or may not be stapled on your passport.
What did the poe officer do when you entered Canada and showed him/her your passport?

Hey Job Seeker, thanks for the reply. The border patrol did not do anything to my passport. No stamp as usual. I've already gotten my Certificat de selection from Quebec and I was just wondering if this would impede anything?
