I am a student in USA. I like to visit my hus, studying in Canada. Is studying in US a great tie to make sure I will not stay back in Canada for Canadian visa

im canadian citizen , my wife is Ukrainian , i want her to come with me to canada for a visit , we started immigration process for permanent resident , will telling visa office that we just want visit canada but will stay there later when we get her pr card help get visa?
