visiting visa from UAE..... having a brother with PR after his refugee

Dear Friends,

I am a single iranian girl. I live in dubai with my parents.I have plan to attend a summer course for one week in canada.
I have invitation and I have paid for class and accomadation.I have very strong bank statement and I have a house under my name in my country. but still I am unemployment.
another problem I have is that I have a brother in canada that he did refugee and it is 5 month that he got his PR.now he is studying and working even he is paying tax.
I saw in the application form that I have to mention name and address of my other brothers and sisters.
help me please that how I can convince them I will come back?
does my brother's past history affect my file?
this cerificate from this school also can really be helpful in my resume for my future career.

1.  Unemployed, brother that claimed refugee status, 1 week course.  IMHO I doubt that you will get a visa.

his status is not refugee anymore...and he got his PR after claimng as a refugee.
I usually go to europe for one or two weeks courses and I have several schengen visa and one uk visa in my passport.
no way to convince them?
is it possible if I dont mention my brother is in canada?
