Hello,
I am in Toronto and still awaiting my PR card. I hold a UK passport

I would like to visit my friends by car in Michigan. Does the Visa Waiver program cover me? from what I read if you dont arrive by air it might not unless you have a return ticket. Any help would be appreciated

I think UK passport holders don't require US Visas

just reconfirm with embassy before your trip, just for safe side
