Hi,

My wife is studying in Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. I have recently completed my Masters in the U.K and want to Visit my wife. Currently I am in India with my family. Could someone tell, how much fund I need to show to get TRV, also the duration of maintaining the funds.

Cheers.....!

Hi There,

I don't think there is a 'required' amount of funds you need.  It will vary for every person.  You just need to show that you have enough to cover your trip.  If you will be doing sight-seeing, will you need to purchase your own food, will you be staying with someone or need a hotel etc etc.  As long as you have enough money to support whatever your plans are in Canada then you should be okay if everything else checks out fine.

Be sure to fully explain the purpose of your trip as well, and if someone is paying for you or you are staying with someone, explain that to them so they know.

Smiley

Goodluck!
