Maybe nobody here knows Smiley  You can find the application forms for visitor visa on the Canada immigration website at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp and it does say in the application guide that you should apply at the visa office responsible for your area but if you are already in the US, you can call the embassy and ask.

What is a world passport?  Some countries have an agreement with Canada that their citizens don't need a visa to go there.  People from other countries will need a visa.  You can see on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp if you need one.
