Hi,
I am trying to invite my parents from Pakistan for a visit to Canada. Can someone share their experience espacially about which supporting documents they and I should submit? What is the average processing time for visit visas in Islamabad?

Wow when My wife applied for her visa in March the wait time was 5 days for Bucharest and now is 14 days. What is going on with CIC?
As for your parents from my personal experience, it's good to show that they have what to return to like a house, bank account. My parents got their visa the first time by showing their house title, copy of their bank statements and an offer for health insurance while in Canada. Since then they have been here multiple times and always get a multiple entry visas for 5 years. In addition, you should check the local CIC office website as every office has it's own requirements.
