Hi everyone

I am planning to go to the Canadian High Commission in London to apply for a visit visa in person. It says on its website that the visa office is open between 8 and 11am.

How early do I have to arrive to get a place in the queue? If it is anything like the French embassy (before they started an appointment system), then one really needs to start queuing from 6am. Has anyone been to the Canadian HC recently in person, and what is the situation like in terms of queuing?

Many thanks if you could share your experience

For a good spot in the queue a start of about 7 should be sufficient from my experience 3 months back
