My elderly father wants to visit me for Christmas. Rather than go over to escort him here, his carer has offered to escort him. Last year she was convicted of drunk driving and lost her licence for a year. In the UK this is a criminal offence and will stay on her record forever. Does this affect here ability to come to Canada to visit?
Thanks

Yes, she is inadmissible to Canada as a visitor until 5 years after the completion of the sentence, at which time she can apply for rehabilitation.
