Visit extension

I put in for a extension on my visitor pass a couple of days ago, while awaiting for a response on my LMO.  Does anyone know how long it takes for you to hear back for the extension?  And I am in Calgary, anyone know about how long a LMO processing time is?  It has been 3 weeks for the LMO and a couple of days for the Visitor extension.  Thank you for your help.

Im american, when I crossed the border they gave me only a 2 month visit pass.  It takes 138 days to get approval?  Ummm... April 26th is my last day, wouldn't they come looking for me?
