Hello everybody,
I got my visa today!
I am so happy. I am ready to move to Canada!
thanks everybody that helped me along the way. This forum is great.

Visa office: Kingston, Jamaica
Application sent to VO March 5th, 2010
Change to in process May 5th, 2010
Medical request May 21st, 2010 (Recived on June 14th, 2010)
Passport request (By phone) August 24th, 2010
Visa Issued on September 2nd.
Visa Received on September 20th, 2010.

Consider yourself blessed. I'm going thru the kingston office. I'm an 07 applicant, submitted updated docs in March 09...still waiting for medicals!!

Hi sheraig,
I was a 2007 applicant and they said that it would take 48 months to process so last year I decided to withdraw my application and reapplied because the new rule was in effect from 2008 so I di nit want to wait that long while other peole were getting their application faster than me.

Really: it worked out perfectly!! U bet! U would still be here waiting and getting frustrated!!! There's a whole bunch of 07ers waiting, 06 as well... When did u apply in 07? I wish I had that option.....geeze..this process I tell u!  |
