On the document list, under "Travel Documents", it asks you to provide a copy of the visa for your current country of residence (Canada, in my case). I haven't renewed my visa since my initial one when I entered Canada. My work and study permits have always been valid and renewed whenever they  needed, but, since I don't travel out of Canada, I've never renewed my visa.

What can I do?

hi, that's fine. just give them the copy of your canadian visa even if it's expired. they just wanted to know if your entry to current country of residence was legal. you know, that you came to canada legally and you had your valid documents when you arrived here. in my case, i also supplied supporting documents. i also attached the immigration stamped in my passport, just to show them that i went through the proper and legal procedure for entering canada.
