i went to pick up visa on january 11 th, 2011 to buffalo. but they did not allow me to go to consulate general. they said u dont have a visa to enter to usa. they took my finger prints and sent me back(canada).i came back to canada and told the story to border service officer. he said they are right.but when i went there from the us peace border they issued a letter that i tried to go to buffalo to pick up visa that they did not let me go there and rejected like that. same day after i came to toronto i mailed my passport to Fort errie canadian office. i did not get back my passport yet. will that thing gonna affect to my pr visa. pls let me know. thanks.

So, you didn't have a temporary US visa? How you entered in the US and how you did you get to Buffalo? Just curious.

Or the officers from the port of entry didn't allow your entrance into the US?

is that thing gonna affect my pr visa. pls let me know. thanks.

It is not gonna affect your PR visa in anyway, but you should not have done that. Instead, you could have sent any Canadian friend with your passport to Buffalo to get the visa stamped same day.

Anyway, you are gonna receive your passport within 20 days or less from sending it.

Good luck.

Most likely going to affect your future entry to the US but will not affect your canadian PR status. You shouldn't have attempted to enter the US without a vid entry clearance/visa

Should not have any issues, but yes it might create trouble if you ever try to get visa to US.Surprising part is how did Canadian border post let you pass when you dont have visa.Well heard a lot of stories of they let pass any one leaving without any questions and trouble them when they try to get in .

usually denial of entry by road do not create huge problems. Don't worry. Everyone does just that during landing Tongue Tongue

they get denied at the US border, come back to Canada and say that i am landing!

Do not worry, it is not gonna affect your PR visa in any way. Even if you would like to enter the united states in the future, just wait until you become a Canadian citizen, then you will never need a visa to enter the USA, so it is not gonna affect anything in your life.

Did they take all of your 10 fingers print, or only one finger ?

The format changed, now-a-days US takes all finger print.
