My question is after getting request for passport how much time they give us to send passport to CIC. I have plan to go somewhere and same time iam expecting to get passport request.

The letter for requesting Passport is valid corrobating your medical validity (e.g if you had medical done 1st Oct 2008 then your medical will expire 1st Oct 2009 so you should be receiving request withing this period and remember visa endorsement on your passport is valid towards the end of your medical expiry date so it could be 10 days valid visa 15 days etc

So I dont know when was your medical done ,it depends ...
But wait for someother suggestion from seniors ...

Regards

In my visa office which is Manila... After receiving my PPR (passport reques) i was given 45 days from the date of letter to submit our passports for visa issuance. as stated no extensions will be entertained.

Normally you would be given anywhere between 45 to 60 days depending on the country from which you have applied. In general its not extensible.

That's right. The standard is 45-days from the letter date.

This is mainly to do a BC and SC before taking a final decision on your case
