Visa Renewal

I just got my visa last Saturday from CEM. Now my next step is to process my OEC at POEA.

My visa will expire on October, 2012. My question is, Do i need to renew my visa to process my OEC or they will consider processing
my OEC though it will expire this year?

Any answers will definitely be a big help coz i will be processing my OEC maybe by tomorrow.

Please advise. Thanks!

Nope, d mo na kelangan mag renew, pero you should leave the country before your visa expires.

Because my passport will expire in November, that's why my work permit is only till September, i may need to ask for an extension of my work permit once i get there and i need to renew my passport.

Oh I see. I've a friend in Halifax whose passport expired in Canada, she had to go to the nearest Phil. Embassy to have it renewed.
