App. Filed.......: Submitted May 13th, 2011- Received May 18th, 2011
File Transfer...: June 21st, 2011/received July 4th 2011
Med's Done....: May 9th 2011
Passport Req..: July 26th, 2011 (accdng to the email from embassy)
VISA ISSUED...: Oct. 19, 2011-- received on Oct. 31, 2011
LANDED..........: Oct. 31, 2011

this forum has helped me a lot

i was refused twice by the Manila Canadian Embassy. I was looking for ways on how to get through with the application and receive an approved visa. I read somewhere here about the dual intent application posted by BCguy. I read it, understood it, and applied it.. and on my 3rd application.. I got an APPROVED VISA..

my many thanks go to BCguy for the information you posted here. it helped me a lot. now, I am bound to Canada probably this november. thanks.
