I think Visa Quota for 2012 has already been announced. For FSW class it has been increased from 45,000-47,000 to 55,000-57,000. correct me if I am wrong.

For FSW visa quota for 2011 was 55 900 as far as I know.
Among them:
3 000 Manila
7 500 New Delhi
17 500 London
7 500 Buffalo
1 100 Singapore
etc.

Where do you see 45 000 - 47 000?

I have checked again and again. In this post the figure was 45 000-47 000. Where did this figure come from? In Jan 2011 the quota for 2011 was settled up to 55 900. And in the post it is 10 000 less.
The table with quotas for 2011 I see on the site of my immigration consultant.
Sorry, I am not allowed to give links Embarrassed

But you've said the  quota was 45 000 - 47 000.

Mehulca said it is increased.....

earlier it was 45,000-47,000
For this year it is increased by 10000 & now the slab is 55,000-57,000

U r saying 55900 precisely which fits in the new slab.

Hope this clarifies...

Yes, I have meant that 55 900 was for 2011.
For 2012 there is no table with quotas by now.

Hi Kanamen and seniors,

Does the figure of 57000 for federal skill worker includes dependents as well or it's only primary applicant .

So that means if on an average one federal skill application has one dependent that means only 28000 federal skill applications will be processed in this year , which includes soon to be intoduced MI4, 3,2 & 1 .

The result MI 1 applicants has to wait for 2-3 years more.

Yes ,it does
