Hello everyone need your help on the following

After reading this I'm confused

"Canadian citizens and permanent residents sponsoring their family will continue to send their applications to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. On their application form, they will be able to select the office in Beirut as their primary point of service.

I don't see anywhere in the application form where you can select the primary point of service. I'm not sure if I missed that part when I completed and revised the  entire application....
Also let's say if I missed it. Does CIC-M knows automatically where to send the PR application (visa office??).
My husband file was forwarded to Damascus by CIC-M even after the announcement came out March 31 so how come they didn't send it to beirut Visa office since my husband live there?Huh

Marlena..
You know the only place I saw where you put the processing office is on the receipt for the medical. Maybe it's from there they send it?

Thanks!!! my husband did his medical in Canada. I only filled my address and the rest the doctor took care of. No wonder why on PR status it's confirmed Medical received.
Actually it doesn't matter Both Damascus and Beirut have the same time to process the application. If he has to go through interview he will requested in Beirut and if he doesn't have one it's a bonus.

Boujasim, you made me happy concerning stamping the passport in Lebanon, but if this is the case, what they do about the original paper and pics that they have to return, do they send it by FedEx or something like that to Beirut? Or in their own private mail service. I was talking about that with my husband, and he is scared from past bad experience, that they got lost, or take long time in order to come to Lebanon, with means they will postpone the passport stamping until the file is received in Lebanon.
marlena, I guess, not sure, that they choose where to send the application based on your husband address in the application where he say that he has a legal status in that country for at least 1 year...not sure.

That is a good news, witch means that they are working on your file.
from post, I guess they return the original picture and cards...because after all, they won't have enough places to keep all these original..
