Visa office & PR from questions

Hello All

this is my first mail on this forum (new comer in this forum, planning to submitt my PR form in 08). i am residing/working in Dubai U.A.E and carrying Pakistani passport and nationality. which visa office, i have to submitt my this PR form (was looking on CIC web site, they have office in Abu Dabi but if i am not wrong, they don't have service for high skilled immigration service).
Do i have to submitt in Islamabad office?

also would like to know the answer of Q18, 25 and 27 of PR form

Q18: I am working in oil and gas sector (Schlumberger, in Manufacturing department as Project/Manufacturing engineer). so based on this which city should i put. how about Calagry (assuming they are having oil and gas activities).

Q25; fund; ten thousands canadian dollar.

Q27: i have plan to appply as me principle applicant and my wife with me. so in this question, do i have to fill only my wife details (or i have to fill all my brother and sisters, parents details as well?)
Sound i am asking too much in my one mail, but hope will hear from your side.

Hi,
1.For visa office u shd apply to London Office ,as it is the immigration office dealing to all of Gulf immigration cases, instead of ISD,as ISD ll take atleast 2-3 yrs more than London to process ur case.
2.U can put any city,town as ur destination in ur form, but Calgary or any other place in Alberta ll be a better option for u,but its not nessary tht one shd land on the same mentioned place when he gets his PR.
3.for proof of Funds it depends upon no. of persons included in the application , so plz visit  www.cic.gc.ca ,for exact details abt supporting funds.
4.As ur applying outside Buffalo office, so u ve to apply thru Simplified Application process , in which u just ve to submit just the basic form, IMM008,in tht form u ve to include details of ur dependents,wife kids,but as ur process will proceed ,they ll ask u for more forms n in those forms u ll ve to submit details of ur rest of family, no matter they r accompanying u or not.U can download the form from www.canada.org.uk.

Thanks for your reply, i was reading the CIC web site and got stuck with the statment as below (copu and paste from CIC)
Applicants for Permanent Residence
You must apply in your country of residence, your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted for at least one year.

According to this, either is ould submitt my application form to Abu dabi (as i am resident of UAE) or to Pakistan (islamabad, as i m national of pakistan).
i also looked in london office website but could not find the information that they cover middle east region for highly skilled immigration application.
plz correct me if i am wrong.

for the clearification, plz see DETAILS for SAUDI ARABIA .Abu Dhabi does not process applications for skilled worker class.However it processes for other categories of immigration.There r many ppl who r currently in UAE n ve applied thru london Office.i hope they ll also help.
