Hi All,

I am an applicant from Pakistan. I am not using any representative therefore I need to ask which Visa office should be mentioned in the main application? Islamabad or London?

crap..i mentioned Islamabad on the form and have already submitted the application. The idea of joining a forum hit my head just now. I have received an email stating that my application has received a positive determination, but am worried the wrong visa office mentioned might not put the whole thing in delay. In theory they should just send to the right visa office but I dont know how they will deal with this. Any ideas?

i did that mitake too..applied in previous rules under M1 instructions..they mentioned in their positive determination from CIO that VO for Pak has been changed from Isloo to london so i have to send my complete docs to london instead of isloo..so when i sent my complete package i mentioned London and explaine in the cover letter as well. check your email from CIO again if they have mentioned anyhting like your visa office is London and we are sending your complete file to london.....if you have recieved positive determination from CIP than you should be fine........

Very strange...I find you people very lucky whose applications still got accepted with wrong visa office written because they say if you write it wrong they would return your whole application straightaway. Good luck anyways..........

prayers and persistence. I applied first last year (dont remember the month) and my application got returned because of the changes. Then I sent my completed application to London from where, again, it was returned. Then finally I sent it to CIC and hopefully it doesnt get returned again.

Just for reference.
Date of application sent to CIC: somewhere towards the end of Feb-11
Confirmation of positive determination: 23-Jun-11
My status says that a letter was sent out on Mar 31st, but I havent received any as yet. (I have raised a case specific query for this)
