Hii...

My status changed to VISA OFFICE ELIGIBILITY COMPLETE on 28th oct.

If any forum member has similar experience..please tell what this means...

some ppl are saying that they will demand for more documents...if it so...then what type of document they generaly ask as complete document-set is already submitted to them.

thanks..harsh

I don't have any experience but the wording used in all the official documents seems to suggest that "eligibility" is the term used when determining if your application falls under FSW category 1, 2 or 3. This determination is first made at the Central Intake Office of course but your local visa office repeats this process once you sent full docs to them. Only if your application is found eligible it will then undergo "assessment" against the six selection factors (the point system).

Thus, I'm guessing "VISA OFFICE ELIGIBILITY COMPLETE" means that your visa office has determined your application to be eligible for assessment and that it is now awaiting that assessment. Unfortunately, you don't provide a time line that could have corroborated this assumption.

Dear HARSH, well at this point in time all you have to worry is that you won't get a rejection letter like Naavy100... if anything is missing in your file they'll ask you for further documents. Better submit or add further documents than receiving a rejection.
Good luck

if their NOC doesnt fall in 38 occ list then its a rejection

leme tell you about my case

I applied in apr 2008 under NOC-0122(banking credit and other investment manager)

I decided to change my NOC to 0111 whch was in the list and just wrote them letter with the photocopies of my degrees to consider me under this NOC but i forgot to mention duties for 0111

this was reasen for my rejection

3 friend of mine applied in apr 2008 NOC-0111
but they got thier rejection in Aug 09 for not being in 38 occ list

thanx

thanks navvy and ankara...

lets hope for the best...actually my category falls under 38 category list and I had mentioned my duties also. Lets see what they ask further.

Can you please tell whether embassy people send letter by regular or registered post or by courier. My consultant is in canada and it will take a long time if they send by regular post..thats why I am bit worried.

Thanks...harsh
