visa office cross-check PR & work permit details provided?

Hi there,
I came to Canada on a work permit as an internal company tranferee. When I applied for work permit, I submitted only my Bachelor's degree and didnt provide my Master's at all. This is because I lost my Master's degree certificates.

Later I reapplied and got them back from the university.

But when I applied for PR under FSW3, I submitted my Masters degree as well including Transcripts for the degrees I obtained.

Can anyone tell me, does the visa offices cross check the details provided for work permit processing and PR?
