I agree, London seems to be very quick at the moment.

I am networking with a a group of people in the UK at the moment. Of the few that have made it out there, it took between 2-3 years for the process to be done and dusted and the ones currently waiting, the timelines are ranging from 18+ months. There is one guy that has been waiting 36 months. Of course, this is all case spcific and I don't know the complications involved or what happened for it to take that long.

Julchen, where did you get the timelines 7-16 months from?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/01-all.asp

I applied end of March, just recieved my 120 day letter last week, so busy preparing the docs.

Also, I know this is a bit off topic, but in regards to translating documents into English. Does this also extend to German police checks, German University diplomas etc.

Oh by the way, as a quick introduction I am based in Frankfurt am Main, and really excited about making a life changing move with my family!

Best of luck to all!

Try this link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp

This is the link for family class spousal applications.  As you can see, London is processing applications in 2-7 months.  Mine took 6 months, and from the cases shown on Trackitt, that was a longer than normal wait.

Not sure what the link you supplied is specifically for.  Maybe an average of all types of applications?

Ah ok. I now understand what I have done. In my excitement of finding fellow Berlin applicants,  I have not read the title of the thread properly. Kiss

I have applied under FSW.

Hi Guys, just wondering if anything has been moving in your Berlin cases? Mine has been in process since May 22nd. Way to early to expect anything happening on my side...
