Hi All

I have been following the forum for over an year and its been great. Thank you everyone for all your inputs.

I am expected to receive my PPR letter in the next few days.this was confirmed to me by the Detroit office. My questions are:

1)I do not have a US visa.  So can I send a friend to the Detroit VO with a proper authorization letter to get my passport stamped?

2)I am yet to pay my RPRF. Can I send the bank draft with my friend when he goes on my behalf? Will the visa office accept it immediately and issue the visa?OR should I send it now? If I send it now, will it delay my PPR request?

Thanks a lot. I am on a really tight timeline. So will appreciate any prompt response.

you are very lucky....your papers were processed in a very short time. when was your file transferred to detroit? actually theres will be an option in the letter tha you could send it at windsor which wont take long to have it stamped and mailed back to you. and you shold just wait for the ppr it self and the request to pay the rprf. ths helps. again, congratulations...

hi...got this from a part in the ppr from detroit.....it belongs to a friend...hope this helps...

Please submit the valid passports for you and all accompanying family members included in your application to the
Consulate address as indicated below. Please detach any expired passport(s) from the valid passport(s) that you send to our
office. Applicants who send their documents by mail must provide a return address in Canada or the United States to
which their passport(s) can be returned (see the “Document Return Procedure” page attached to this letter). If you do not
have a mailing address in Canada or the United States, you must deliver your passport(s) in person, Monday to Friday, 8:30
a.m. to 12 noon. Your passports will be ready for pick up in ten business days.
