I did mailed my extension of stay as visitor to vegreville last june 17, 2011 to maintain my status while waiting for my inland application.

YEsterday, a person from immigration called and asked for my new passport and I was asked to faxed it, and I did faxed it right away. This morning, I checked my status and it says, a decision has been made andyou will be contacted.

In my status it says:


We received your application for permanent residence on September 15, 2010. 
We started processing your application on November 3, 2010. 
A decision has been made and you will be contacted.




I am praying a lot that it will be a positive result...

My Timeline:
Application Sent     : September 12, 2011
Application Received : September 15, 2011
Application was processed on November 3, 2010
DEcision Made        : June 22, 2011

Does anybody know if the same process discussed here applies if the PR application is done outland?  I am from a visa exempt country and would like to know if my visitor status can be extended.

My PR app was outland and I applied for an extension although my PPR for the PR app came before my visitor permit extension decision did

You can apply to extend your stay. This can be done via mail or online.
