Hi all. I applied for a Canadian Visa on 1/09/2009 and I've been tracking my application status online. Yesterday it said my passport was in transit, however a few hours later the status read as follows:

Passport has been dispatched through Courier vide Airway Bill #: on . You can also track your passport Status by visiting the website: www.bluedart.com. Incase of Hold Passport: Your Passport has been held on Request at OC Delhi OC.

I am very confused as to what this means i.e. has my passport been shipped or is it being held at OC Delhi? And if so, what is OC Delhi? Also, if it is being held, what are the general reasons they do this and when can I expect my passport back?

Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Arjun

The passport will be sent to VFS office instead of sending directly to the applicant. OC is Officer In-Charge.

You can also track your passport Status by visiting the website: bluedart.com click on Ref No. and enter your passport number and you can get your Tracking Details / Waybill Number.
