Hi friends,

I would like to know how long it takes to have passport back after completing further medical?

Please note that medical will expired in July 2011 and further medical submitted in June 2011.

don't worry, u will get your stamped passport within 2-3 weeks

Hi Narmeen

Did CIC request you for re-medicals? On what basis did you do the 2nd medicals?

Hi Miranda,

Cic asked for passports when send me first medical.
Waited for 9 months to contact cic as passports were not back.
It was then than Cic informed me that i was supposed to do a further medical of sputum smear test.
After 3 weeks send me medical letter for further test.

Your time is till Nov'11 right?Huh Did you take up with your VO? Keep on bombarding mails after a reasonable gap.

hi miranda,

i think it's august 26 accdg to my agency they will start counting on the initial medical exam, and base on that, my medical will expire exactly next month. i emailed them yesterday dont know what will happen.... still waiting ..... hopefully i will receive one....

thank you very much....hopefully we will all receive positive response from them.....i'll keep you posted....tnx

As am still waiting do u think i can send CIC a mail to query. I have gone thru a representative.

Do u think CIC will reply as I have use a representative .my status is just showing in process with we have started processing ur application ................. u know same line

what if the medical expires amid the visa stamping or time  become too short for landing or even it become uncertain for receiving the passport from the visa office ?
