Sometimes is soooo hard to stay positive. We all miss our loved ones, and we all wish this process will go fast and smoothly. I really try my best to be happy for other ppl who get their visas, but there is always that little question in the back of my head "why not me?". For all of you who got their visas, don`t feel bad, enjoy, that is your right, and for all of us still waiting hang in there, our time will come. Kudos to Serdj, tam.1979 and others who are waiting for so long. You guyz really deserve to be first in line. I just wish that someone in Vienna VO would finally speed up our visas. No one should be away from their spouses and kids .

Thank you everyone Smiley) we got the PPR email on Valentine's day so that was a perfect gift...although, we didn't expect it then... but after checking the email for the last time that day (at 5:05pm, since they close at 5pm), there it was, the "passport request email" received at 4:27pm Smiley
On Wednesday afternoon we got in our car and headed over to Vienna so we can submitt the passport first thing Thursday morning.  We got there a few minutes after 8:30am...there was noone else... we had to leave our phones and the camera with the security guard, then walked in, and submitted the passport... the very pleasent lady at the visa section asked us for the file number so we gave her a copy of the email that we received on the 14th... and then she asked for the passport and a copy of the passport page containing the information... we gave her that and she said that we will have to come back between 2-3pm to pick up the passport... we went back to the hotel (Hotel Post, which was 50 meters away) to get our stuff, left it in the car, and then went for a walk... had a lunch at a restaurant close to the St. Stephans cathedral, walked some more, (this was our 2nd time in Vienna so we didnt really go to any tourist places as we've already visited them during our honeymoon), and at a few minutes after 2pm, we were back at the embassy... the same very nice and pleasent lady at the embassy first returned all our pictures to us (that I originally sent to CPC-M along with the applications), in that envelope were also all the other proofs and stories that we submitted... then, she gave us the passport and another sheet "PR confirmation" and said that my husband has to give that sheet to the immigration officer when we land in Toronto which they will both sign at that time, and also another information packaging (just general information)... we headed right back, stopped over in Parndorf outlet centre for a little break and came home at around midnight last night.

Wishing you all best of luck and a quick receipt of your PPR emails.

Just a quick note, the embassy is closed on Monday for a Family Day holiday............

Since more than two months has passed after redoing medicals and knowing it takes around 6 weeks for ppr we figured that something's holding back our case... again... and we were right...

My wife send email to Vienna last week and yesterday she received reply. It says that our case is pending RPRF payment confirmation from CPC Mississauga! We payed all our fees at start and receipt was send to CPC-M together with our application! Wtf!?

I'm asking myself how incompetent someone can be and not enter RPRF fee is payed? Both fees were on that same receipt on that same piece of paper and RPRF was not entered? Not there? Come on...

Luckily we have copy of that receipt and my wife faxed it to CPC-M and to Vienna as guy at CPC-M advised. Now I really don't know how long will it take after this... it already prolong us unnecessarily for at least two months...

It's so disappointing...

I'm glad we emailed for follow up. God knows for how long it would take for someone to actually address to us and say receipt is missing...

Lucky I think faxing is better option. Emailing with attachments can be tricky due to security reasons. Maybe their servers are set not to receive emails with attachments. Don't know for sure about it. If they asked you to email receipt it's probably ok then.
