Just wanted to share with all of you that my husband landed yesterday  Finally!
He also had a good experience at the airport. They asked him a few questions, like my address and that was that.
It took him about 2 hrs to get out because there was a lot of people in line before him.
Just like Cleo's husband, he would have been out in a few minutes if it wasn't for the lineups.
Overall no problems with immigration.
I'll be honest, I was really nervous about seeing him after all this time, but we picked up right where we left off. It's like falling in love all over again. Great feeling!
Good luck to everyone else waiting. I waited over 3 yrs and the day finally came, so don't lose hope!

Grat finally found a topic for VIENNA OFFICE great job guys
i  am not sure what to expect why do they take so long, two months have passed since the medicals, all the fees are paid , i guess next step is the ppr's? please if someone can give me a little hope, i was assuming that i would be in canada by christmas together with my parents i have not seen them for 8 years but i guess each of us would like to get their visas stamped as fastest as i gets
and please if someone can answer me when you go in person for picking up you visas tho you have to bring every one along (in my case my spouse and my kids) or can i just take their passports and go alone?

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We require the following information and/or documentation in order to continue processing your application:

provide this office with passports for you and your family members in order that immigrant visas may be affixed in the passport. There must be a blank page for each person listed in the passport. The passports must be valid beyond your planned date of arrival in Canada. Passports will normally be returned by registered mail to the mailing address we have in our records. Please allow several weeks for processing.
 
If you wish to have same day service, please come to our office in person on any Tuesday or Thursday between 08:30 AM and 10:00 AM, and we will try to complete the processing by 3:00 PM. An appointment is not necessary. Please note that the Canadian Embassy in Vienna will be closed on the dates listed here. 
The information and/or documentation we have requested must be provided to us within two months of the date on this letter. If documents have been requested, please provide originals or certified true copies. All documents not in English or French must be accompanied by a certified English or French translation.
Please note that failure to provide the above requested information and/or documentation will result in the assessment of your case on the basis of the incomplete information on your file. This may lead to the refusal of your application.

Hey everyone,

When your spouses applied from Serbia, did they need to fill out "Country Specific Instructions- Appendix A" which asks for Travel history.  We are just unsure if I also need to fill out the travel information as there is a box for "spouse" or is that just if their spouse is accompanying them to Canada?  Also you just sent in 1 marriage certificate even though it is on both of our checklists?
