Go and visit. Spend together as much time as you can. Maybe he could rent apartment for your visit?
When did they started processing your application? Was it In April?
You can order Caips notes, there you'll find some useful information.
When did your husband served, what year was it? It can make a difference...
Thing is, in Caips notes you can see what's currently in process and what things are done.
For example in my case I'm in queue for an interview. I was queued in January 2011. There is due date for security checks and it says January 2012.
All those dates are not promising... it's a long time to wait...but it's kind of easier when you know certain dates... you can plan and live your life the best you can.
My wife was here for month and a half. She went back just two weeks ago. Feels like two years, not two weeks...Before that I haven't see her for 9 months...(skype is cool...but...you know...)
And now because of her work she won't be able to come and visit in next 7 months... I can't go there, so it sucks... but we shouldn't be stressed cause those things are out of our control...all we can do is wait...
With complications or not, go and visit
