Very very urgent please response ASAP

Hi everyone,

My father has applied for canada immigiration through investment and I and my family are his dependent. We have been asked tos end our passports within one month.
If we get the visa, do we have to land in Canada all toggether? I am in the UK now and they are in Iran.

To answer your question, if issued PR visa, no you do not have to all arrive in Canada together. However, the principal applicant (your father) needs to arrive first.

That said, you said "and my family"... if you're married or in a common-law relationship, it's quite likely you're no longer a dependent.

Well, No it is not gonna be PR visa but just 1 year visa to land in to apply for PR.
I am not married , I meant my siblings and mother.

Are you sure about that? I'm not familiar with the investment class, but I never heard of that procedure before.

Investor class visas often have conditions attached to them.  This family probably has conditions that need to be met before they can become permanent residents.

no there is no condition but PR cards are issued when youa rrive in Canada. They usually give you one year visa from the date of the medicals when you should arrive in canada by and then apply to get your PR. It is the case for a lot of PRs I think ! Nothing strange

That is exactly what I meant by PR visa. It's the visa that allows you to travel to Canada to become a PR. It's not that you travel to Canada then apply for PR - the issuance of the PR visa means you have already applied for and been approved for PR, and you actually become a PR when you enter Canada.

The answer is the same - the principal applicant must arrive first.

I know with family class, the Principal applicant needs to land first - not any dependants.
I'm going to assume this is the same case.

This means though - that you and your siblings/mother can arrive with your father. HE needs to be processed first though.
So when you get off the plane (assuming you'd fly) he needs to be first, and done first and no one else in your 'group' until he's been processed.
You can however all fly together. Just make sure you tell them HE is the principal applicant.
