I am one of SAP applicant at CHC London since July 2007. I got update request letter back in August 2009 and I had sent all the requested documents in December 2009. CHC London had requested 'Immigrant Summary & Supplementary Information Form' before medical request during October 2010 which was responded by me in a timely manner. Please also note that there is no verification attempts from CHC London so far.

I had sent a case specific enquiry at the end of November 2010 and I got the following reply from CHC London.

'Please be advised that we await the results of routine background enquiries. We will write to you as soon as we are in a position to do so.'

Hi

It means your background/security checks are on thats why you havent heard anything from them, sometimes security checks takes time which causes the delay. Also visa office does not acknowledge when they receive the additional documents so its normal. Read the below thread you willl know what is involve in the checks and why it takes time.

hi
  i need yr suggestion
 i have sent to cio dd with title citizenship and immigration canada  whi ch is wrong. i was suppose to write receiver genral for canada..

 the mistake was done by bank officer

now what should i do ....
should i wait for cic reply
it will cause my non acceptance
should i make another dd
or my realtive in canada should fill the fee payment and pay on my behalf with covering letter....
plz guide me my noc is 3131 which is 320 now

Go to that bank with the receipt of the DD and get it cancelled if u have sent it across in a weeks time or 10 days.
Next make a new draft for RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA AND write ur name , file no, noc code , date of birth & country of birth on the back of the dd and send it across at the earlisest with a covering letter that dd no made earlier stands cancelled due to wrong receipent name , quote that dd no and also mention new dd number and state it was a error which u realised later. No big deal brother u will be thru.

u send them the enquiry in  NOV 2010 and that reply in 2010 too!!!! .............. send them another enquiry now

                      In that case do not cancel the old draft since they will not encash it with a wrong name. You just make a new one and explain it thru covering letter before they reject and send everything back. Do it at the earliest as the CAP is getting filled up. After getting a positive response from their side cancel the old one.

dear shibuya... my relative in canada spoke to cic agent about my case he told him that only way is to wait for cic reply as mistake was done by bank officer so they may ask for another draft.and sending new draft will creat confusion....if u can thru some light on it.....as yet m confuse what to do??
