hi guys,
i was just wondering whether my application will take way too much time for processing in background check..

After my 10th grade i changed my name bit..it was very long and i shortened it but that was before i was 17..

after i was 18 i went to uk and  i studied there for one year...

so i want to know that because of the 2 above factors is it very highly likely that my application will be stuck in background check for 1-2 years.?

PS: i currently reside in canada.

According to the reasons you mentioned possibly there could be a delay for BC. But it is not necessary that it should take one to two years. No one can predict about how long the BC will go on. It could be even within 2 to 6 months also, but it depends the applicant's case. However you have to wait and see.
