The new ministeral instruction advised all post June 26,2010 FSW applicants to submit their application with all others supporting documents (ielts, police clearance, nbi, job description, work experience, etc.) one time only. That is why the advice of the agencies is to gather all documents first and once completed, may send to CIO Nova Scotia because they will be the one to assess of your eligibility wether you have reached the 67 points. Unlike before with the pre june 26,2010 applicants, they will just give positive assessment but the local visa office will be the one who will assess whether you meet the required points. You are also given 120 days to accomplish your supporting docs.

I hope this helps you....

Print off the CIO and Visa Office specific checklists.  The instruction guide and the checklists will give you all the answers you require.  Just go through each step EXACTLY as they ask. You only need to send one copy of your forms (the ones requested in the CIO checklist, JUST TICK THEM OFF on the VO specific checklist as well.)  If the directions require a transcript in a sealed University envelope then that is what you request from your institution; if they ask for ORIGINAL IELTS and PCC then that is what you give.  PCC is valid for a year, but must not be more than 3 months old when received by CIO.  IELTS is now valid for two years.  Instructions regarding FEE PAYMENT is in the GUIDE and gives you the name to whom the Bank Draft is payable (or you can choose to use Credit Card).  If Proof of Funds is requested in your Checklist then you provide it NOW.  Think of it this way:  You send ONE APPLICATION, you don't have a chance to provide more documents to back up your request, unless THEY ask for them.  All applications are mailed to CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia.  Depending on your choice to Courier or mail your package, there are addresses indicated in The Guide.  It does feel complicated and overwhelming, but if you go through it methodically you WILL find it falls into place.  Best of Luck...!

Just to clairfy Ruby's post...the 120 days to submit additional documents DOES NOT include the people who are applying now (after June 26).  I am sure she meant to type "You WERE also given 120 days to accomplish your supporting docs."

@ goutam....the post june 26,2010 applicants are no longer given 120 days. This 120 days is only applicable for pre june 26 applicants who are meant to complete the specific requirements for submission at local visa office.

It would be a good idea to remove your email address from your post.  You can send PM to each other through the forum and exchange email addresses that way if you choose.  Just a suggestion.....

goutamdasht

If you are planning to submit the application yourself, I would suggest you read the instruction guide completely and fully again so as to avoid any errors or mistakes.

Rest the forum members are there to help you

Read the checklist and as per them submit your documents
Always I stress ALWAYS goto the CIC website as they keep on changing instructions and forms which you need to follow

Best of luck

Please Read the Manual, there will be multiple manulas (Form Fill up guide as well as check list) 1st for the skilled worker category and 2nd for your country specific, check and follow the two check list one for the CIO and other VO Specific.

www(dot)cic(dot)gc(dot)ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

When you completely go through the above site, then you will be ready to apply

P.S Replace (dot) by "."
