Does anyone have an idea of what is going on with my PR application . I have submitted all my documents , including medicals and paid my visa fee but i am yet to hear from CIC , even to confirm the receipt of my medicals . Last time i checked my status online , it is still saying the same thing since march , that they started processing on march 26. However , i have an immigration lawyer that handles my stuff and it is through them that i got my request for  medicals . i am terrified , i don't understand the delay. i am suppose to be in canada by february 2011 to write exam , but need to apply for temporary visa which i tried three months ago but was refused . I am a nurse and this my last chance to write the after which my registeration for the exam will expire . I need the temporary visa to travel to canada for the exam . Can somebody help with good information please.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon
