verification of PCC (police clearance certificate)

I Have been a silent reader of this forum for a long time now. Its a great forum for almost all kind of Canadian immigration information. I have a query regarding background check.

if immigration officer while conducting assessment refers PCC for verification to second country
for examle, if a person is working in saudi arabia or dubai and case is being processed in pakistan , india, sri lanka.
so it has to be checked from either saudi arabia or dubai. (country other than his own)

How much time it takes for PCC verification from second country.

i have read on the forum standard background check takes 30 - 120 days
and in-depth security check 6 - 12 months

But if it is just PCC verification which comes under criminality check.
