Hi, my fiancee and I have been engaged for a little more than one year and we´re getting married next month. She is a permanent resident and actually living in Toronto and I live in Venezuela. Is it easier to process the sponsorship in Canada? Should I get a temporary (turist) visa in order to start the application in Canada? After getting married in Venezuela is it better if my wife submit the application when se returns to Canada? Could I get a work permit while waiting for PR visa??

Thanks for all your help...

It's faster to apply out of country.  You can get a visitor visa but you can't work untill the PR is final.

It may be difficult for you to get a Visitor Visa because you need to prove that you have strong ties and a reason to return to your country, marrying a Canadian pretty much signals that your intentions are to stay in Canada.

Your best bet is to get married in Venezuela, she returns to Canada and starts the sponsorship process.
