Vegreville Office

I submitted my husband's application to Vegreville because that is what we were supposed to do ... however it has been almost 7 months and not a word ... someone at the Province told me that Vegreville is a very slow office, most the people who work there also farm and take a lot of time off in the summer and fall. Has anyone else had experience with Vegreville?

We submitted my application for sponsorship and his for residency in March ... it says online that they started processing it in April but nothing has been updated since. Seems like our's should be straightforward, we've been married 24 years.

They are currently only processing applications received around end of October, begining of November 2010. We're still in for a bit of a wait I'm afraid!

Mine was received July 21, 2011 and they are currently taking 10-11 months for first stage and AIP and then up to 9 months for second stage
