I had completed landing formalities on April 14th, 2010 and returned to Saudi Arabia. At the time of landing I had demonstrated funds availability through HSBC bank statements and they accepted. Now my son, who is in USA, planning to re-enter canada at Blue water bridge by Road. Is it necessary, he has to demonstarte funds once again? Appreciate your reply

he could be asked anything. at least he'd be asked how much money he would be carrying with him; not necessarily the check post officer would wanna see the amount. This is a common practice. my brother has been asked the same way.

Its the  routine query by officers at border but they wont ask to show POF for immigration purpose if you are returning back my friend
