Valid CSQ but my visa expired

Hello,
 I applied for a resident visa in 2009,and i received my visa but unfortunately i booked my ticket to travel to quebec couple of days before my visa got expired (18/09/2010) but the thing is that i had a pneumothorax few weeks back,and i was advise not to travel during this time.i was hopeless to travel but the doctor didnt allow me on plane as it might reoccur with the altitude.it was mentioned in my medical test that i did that i had a previous case of pneumothorax a history was sent to the embassy.now i am desperately willing to get my visa renewed.can someone please guide me.
what i must do.
secondly i got married and there has been a change in my status.thanks

My CSQ is still valid and expires in 2012 but my visa got expired,on top of that i got married after my visa expired and on my CSQ i am regarded aas SINGLE.

You will have to re-apply.  In the case of visa, it is a situation of "use it or lose it"  CHC/CIC will not renew it.
