Hello all,
I have just applied for a work permit, have the job offer in hand and completing the CRNBC assessment. the question I have is for getting my husband with me. I am a US citizen, my husband is still in India (US immigration has taken too long and we just want to be together), can my husband apply for TRV before I get my work permit on my job offer alone?

No, until you have the TRV/WP and are in Canada, ND will probably not consider a TRV for your spouse.

Thank you for your reply.
Can you tell me aprox. how long it will take for his TRV to be processed in ND and received and he does he only need a copy of my WP in order to apply? will he get an OWP with the TRV or does it have to be applied for seperatly?

I am coming as a temp worker applying for a 3 yr WP ( I am a USA citizen just trying to get to be with my husband as quickly as possible) so will that make a difference in how he comes here (and we are in different countries).
Thank you so much for answering
