Hi Guys,

I am going to apply for police clearance certificate from USA (FBI). How long does it take to get police clearance from FBI. I have all documents ready. I want to know can we send application without police clearance.

Thanks in advance.

It takes about 12-14 weeks. Yes, you can submit your full documents and send a cover note that you have applied for the FBI clearance and attach copy of your proof of submission. When you get it, wait till your 2nd AOR and submit the FBI clearance referring your new file # that you get with your 2nd AOR. This way your FBI submission will not hang in the middle of your processing.
