Hi, I'm from Indonesia who's currently studying in the U.S. I want to come visit Canada for the summer break to visit a friend who just recently went back home, what I'm asking, do I still need to apply for a visa even though I'm already in the U.S.? Thanks!

Yes, you would need a visa to visit Canada unless you've got a U.S. green card or another citizenship you haven't mentioned.
