Hi all.

I reside in the U.S. but i overstayed my visa. How would this effect me at the Canadian port of entry? If i show ties to the U.S would this still count even though currently im "out of status"?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You can expect a "hard time" at the POE as the IO won't believe that you will overstay in Canada.
